S and I hiked Mt. Si Monday morning before the record setting high temperatures set in for the week. As you can see, S's hat has little moisture droplets all over it- at one point I was really cold and long sleeves, pants and an ear warmer weren't enough! You know, I'm still trying to find the thing I really like to do...hiking, eh, it's OK I guess.
We took the dog and surprisingly, she did pretty well, except for the couple times I almost face-planted in the rocks when she tried to chase a chipmunk, that's besides the point though. We didn't get any frightened looks or screams despite her looking totally gangster on the trails. This picture looks like one of those petfinder.com (click that link) ads to adopt a dog that you really don't want to adopt in fear it may maul you in the middle of the night, but feel so bad for it suffering on the rocks. Don't fret, she lives a very charmed life.xx lovers and friends, enjoy the HEAT, I know I will.
