About a year ago I started looking for a pet, I really wanted a cat but S is allergic so we (I) searched for a dog. Every few days I'd check petfinder to see what there was, occasionally I would send an email inquiring about an animal, but nothing ever came of those contacts and it wasn't the right time for us to welcome a pet into our house anyway. One grey day in October I came across a timid, white dog named, Divinity, and her posting said "URGENT". I emailed about her, found out she was 9 months old and had lived in the shelter for the majority of her life, her time was running out and she needed a home ASAP. I had to have her. There was no way this sweet, little dog wasn't going to live because no one wanted her, I wanted her! S and I went to dinner that night to chat about it and thankfully, he agreed we would at the least foster this dog until we found her a permanent home.
She quickly went from 45 pounds to 65 pounds...

...and we never did end up finding a permanent home for her because we just decided to keep her for ourselves. We had to change her name from DIVINITY (how awful) to Sunday!Don't let her cuteness fool you...
exhibit #1- her 1/2 day old bed
exhibit#2- my running shoe (at least they're still run-able)
Exhibit #3- *tear*
Add three pairs of sandals and my favorite peep toe pumps, and she has ate a lot of $$!! It is hard to stay mad at this crazy, creature for too long though...
